When we examine the word apartments, it comes from the root word mid 17th century (denoting a suite of rooms for the use of a particular person or group): from French appartement, from Italian appartamento, from appartare ‘to separate,’ from a parte ‘apart.’ Which comes from Apart: to separate. Communities is just the opposite it means a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common interest, which derives from common, which derives from commune, to Bring together as one. That’s the problem the entire community is seperate from each other, and that’s where the problems continue. We have no stake in apartments they’re ways for the rich to continue to make a quick dollar off of the backs of Blacks and serves the community in no way at all truly. Apartments will not bring or sustain peace, but Communities will work out there differences and see the common bond that benefits them all.
